Our Mission

Improving access to healthcare, health education and practical support.

Ecclesia Health & Safety Club works to improve access to healthcare, health education and practical support in underserved Nigerian communities.

Through community outreaches, school programmes and family assistance, Ecclesia brings care and useful knowledge closer to people who need it.

Core values: Compassion, Integrity and Inclusivity.

About Ecclesia

Small Acts of Care. Meaningful Possibilities.

Students and an Ecclesia representative holding Teen Bloom booklets

For many families, access to healthcare and reliable health information can be difficult.

A routine medical check-up may be delayed because of cost. A young person may have questions about their health but no one to ask. A mother may need practical support while caring for her family.

Ecclesia responds to these everyday realities through community outreach, education and partnerships.

The organisation brings healthcare professionals, volunteers and community members together to share knowledge, provide practical assistance and help people make informed decisions about their wellbeing.

The work is not only about responding to immediate needs. It is also about giving people information and support they can carry into their everyday lives.

What Ecclesia Does

Care That Reaches Beyond the Clinic.

  • Community Health Outreaches

Health check-ups, immunisation-related services and health education for children, mothers, older people and underserved communities.

  • Education That Empowers

School visits and educational resources on hygiene, personal safety and health, including Teen Bloom and My Healthy Habits Adventures.

  • Care for Women & Families

Practical assistance, essential supplies, emotional encouragement and support with hospital bills for single mothers and widows.

  • Community-Led Projects

Working with local organisations and community members on clean-up activities and plans for better community healthcare access.

  • Volunteers & Partnerships

Opportunities for healthcare professionals, volunteers, businesses, NGOs and public institutions to support community programmes.

  • Advocacy for Better Access

Public dialogue and stakeholder engagement on healthcare access, quality and community wellbeing.

Learning for Life

Knowledge Today. Confidence for Tomorrow.

Good health education starts with information people can understand. Through school visits and community programmes, Ecclesia helps children and teenagers learn about their health, ask questions and develop habits that support their wellbeing.

The organisation has developed two educational booklets that allow young people to continue learning beyond each outreach or school session.

Ecclesia's work complements that vision by responding to practical healthcare and education needs in Nigerian communities.

Through school programmes, outreach activities, family support and health education, Ecclesia demonstrates how compassion can become meaningful action.

Together, these areas of work reflect the importance of caring for people not only spiritually, but also physically, socially and emotionally.
